The Romschit clamping cylinder 1824510A slides the lever arm directly forward to the clamping position and then rotates to clamp. The clamping direction can be set to any angle within 360 °. Perfect for clamping in grooves or drilled holes. The clamping insert can be easily disassembled and adapted to different workpieces. The sturdy design uses wedge-shaped components to provide strong force and excellent anti overflow coolant and chip protection (both internal and external seals of the fixture). The lever arm is designed to resist lateral forces at the clamping point. Dual installation capability: All fixtures can be used for standard joint and manifold installation.
Precautions for clamping cylinder:
The linear movement of the clamping rod on the workpiece should not be obstructed; Otherwise, the arm will not contact its positive stop and will exert lateral force on the workpiece after contact. If a fixture with optional self-locking function is disconnected from the power supply after clamping, such as on a pallet, we recommend installing an accumulator to ensure a re clamping effect.
Installation tutorial for clamping cylinder:
Secure with four Allen screws. Two 1/8 "BSPP ports (clamp size 1) or two 1/4" BSPP ports (clamp size 2), A for clamping and B for loosening. For optional manifold installation, use the A and B O-ring ports below the fixture instead of the standard ports. Unscrew the sealing plug from each O-ring port and install a CLR-3000-343-SW O-ring (also install a CLR-811-F port plug in each 1/8 "BSPP port, or insert a CLR-810-F port into each 1/4" BSPP port). Do not use NPT connectors.
