Application fields of OTT-jakob rotary joint:
Almost all industrial sectors require rotary joints, from the food industry to engineering vehicles such as onshore and offshore wind turbines and excavators. Therefore, they must meet various requirements. According to the operation to be performed, the rotary joint must meet different standards, from sealing to IP protection level, and then to material, vibration, acceleration, or working temperature. Therefore, classic rotary joints used for fluids are not automatically suitable for medium routing in hydraulic and pneumatic environments, as the latter must withstand, for example, greater hydraulic or pneumatic pressure (bar).
