Knoll's KTS screw pump is a self priming 7-volume pump suitable for lubrication and small amounts of grinding media. The pump consists of three main components:

1. Suction housing.

2. Spindle housing with one drive spindle and two simultaneously rotating running spindles.

3. The pressure port housing with throttling point, sealing shaft penetration, and external main bearing spindle housing are composed of two ceramic shells embedded in steel.

Knoll screw pumps allow the required pressure to be specified within the range of 0-150. With this system, the pump can adjust the drive motor from 10 Hz to 75 Hz, and the speed of the pump unit changes (500 to 4500 rpm), resulting in changes in performance characteristics. Pressure sensors and electronic PI control ensure that the specified pressure (target value) is independent of usage.
