ebm-papst centrifugal fans are available with forward and back curved blades. Quiet running centrifugal fans with forward-curved blades also come with a scroll housing. Centrifugal fans with backward curved blades are designed as flywheel fans and do not require a scroll housing. For centrifugal fans with an external rotor motor, the motor is located in the impeller, ensuring not only optimal cooling of the motor, but also a particularly compact design. The entire range is powered by AC and GreenTech EC technology. In addition to being particularly energy efficient, integrated electronics enable any control, monitoring and maintenance function - suitable for smart homes and Industry 4.0.

At first glance, EBM-Papst diagonal fans are slightly different from axial-flow fans. Air is drawn axially, but outflow is diagonal. For diagonal fans, the tapered shape of the impeller and housing allows for greater compression of the intake air. The outstanding feature of this fan is that it operates at a much lower noise level at high pressure compared to axial flow fans of the same size and providing similar performance. They are particularly suitable for applications involving high concentration cooling.
