Centrifugal pump working principle:
A typical centrifugal pump unit consists of one or more impellers connected to a rotating pump shaft. This arrangement provides the energy needed to direct the fluid through the pump system and associated piping. The impeller, which rotates in sync with the pump shaft, converts the dynamic mechanical energy from the pump motor into the energy of the moving fluid. While most of the energy from the motor will be converted to kinetic energy in the pumped fluid, a portion will be guided as potential energy in the fluid pressure calculated from gravity.
