Shenzhen Oudejie Technology Co., Ltd. specializes in the sale of German original imported newKono screw pump,At the same time to provide our customers with quotation, selection, product information and other services. This article introduces the 7 most important parts of the screw pump, so that you can have a more intuitive understanding of the screw pump, and facilitate subsequent use and maintenance.

1. Screwdriver

It is the rotating part of the screw pump. The screwdriver is connected to the drive shaft of the motor. It contributes to a consistent volumetric flow rate for fluid pumping. The timing gear is connected to one end, while the drive shaft is connected to the other end.

The driven screw is rotated by the drive screw, which is powered by the drive shaft of the motor. It works well with the driven screw. High strength steel is used to make the screws. The main job of the screwdriver is to turn the driven screw through the timing gear, which is an intermediate component.

2. Driven screw

High strength steel metal is also used to drive the screw. Due to the movement transmitted by the timing gear, it rotates around its axis. It rotates in the opposite direction to the driver's gear. The clearance area of the screw is constant. This helps capture water in confined Spaces.

When the drive and the driven screw move together, the water volume decreases and flows to the outlet. As a result of this movement, the pressure of the fluid rises. It is then discharged through the discharge/exit port.

3. Timing gear

The timing gear drives the driven screw in such a way that the Yin/Yang rotor assembly does not make metal-to-metal contact. It establishes a connection between the drive and the driven screw. The drive screw rotates the timing gear and then transmits the rotation to the driven screw. It drives the screw in this way. It guarantees that such connections will not be made even if the pump is shut down for a short time.

4. Entrance and exit

The inlet and outlet of the screw pump are different. Water is drawn into the pump through the intake port and discharged through the outlet port. When the pump finally stops, the inlet and outlet are designed to ensure that there is sufficient liquid medium. This facilitates the initial liquid medium delivery of the pump. Therefore, the straw should not dry out quickly, even if it is empty or dry.

5, pressure relief valve

The screw pump is a positive displacement pump that generates pressure even when the outlet is closed. This increases pressure, which can lead to significant problems, including damage to internal pump parts and injury to pump operators. Therefore, every positive displacement pump has a safety valve to protect the pump, the operator and any associated gears. Additional pressure returns to the air intake through this valve. Recirculating the outlet fluid is another well-known way to reduce additional pressure.

6. Bearing

During pump operation, the top bearings of vertically mounted screw pumps are subjected to heavy loads as well as axial and radial stresses. Therefore, the load on the lower bearing is minimal.

The main function of the bottom bearing is to keep the components of the pump aligned. On the other hand, parallel mounted screw pumps, roller bearings and plain bearings have relatively low loads. This is because the radial and axial forces generated are opposite and cancel each other out.

7. Drive shaft

The drive shaft connects the pump assembly to the drive motor. This connection is achieved by using a suitable elastic coupling.

This drive shaft is a key component in many types of pumps, and it moves left and right to ensure the operation of the drive screw. In this construction, the drive shaft is held in place by a set of axially assembled bearings. Therefore, accurate drive shaft alignment is essential to maintain pump life and bearings.
