The pressure evenly diffuses to all directions of the system and uniformly acts on all closed space surfaces of the hydraulic system; This effect is called PASCAL's Law.



As a result, pressure is created when force is applied to the surface of the object. When the force is divided by the area, we get the pressure: p= F/A (where: F = force [N, Newton], A = area [m2], p= pressure [N/m2] = PASCAL [Pa])

Therefore, the hydraulic pressure of the cylinder can be converted back into mechanical motion. When the pressure reaches chamber A, the rod is pushed out and therefore the force is pushed out (F = px A1). When the pressure enters chamber B, the reverse motion in the double-acting cylinder returns the rod and the force returns (F = px A2).
