How are SHERWIN osmotic fluids classified?

2023-09-21 17:40:35

According to AMS 2644, penetration systems are divided into:

1, fluorescent penetrant

2. Visible penetrant

The penetrant is then classified by means of removing excess penetrant from the part. The four methods are as follows:

Method A - Washable

Method B - Post-emulsification, lipophilic

Method C - Solvent removal

Method D - Post-emulsification, hydrophilic

Washable (Method A) penetrants contain emulsifiers, which means they can be removed from the part by rinsing it with water alone.

Two different emulsifying methods (i.e. lipophilic and hydrophilic) can be used to remove the post-emulsifying penetrant. The role of lipophilic emulsifiers (Method B) is to fundamentally change the chemistry of the penetrant so that it acts like a washable penetrant, allowing water to be used to remove excess penetrant. Hydrophilic emulsifiers (Method D) act like cleaners by emulsifying excess penetrant and then removing it with water, just as fat in cooking meat can be emulsified with a liquid cleaner so that it can be washed off with water.

Solvent removable Penetrant Solvent (Method C) is required to remove the penetrant from the part.

Penetrants are then classified according to their ability as indicated by the penetrant test. The five sensitivity levels are as follows:

Class ½ - Ultra-low sensitivity

Level 1 - Low sensitivity

Level 2 - Medium sensitivity

Level 3 - High sensitivity

Level 4 - Ultra high sensitivity

The above describes how SHERWIN penetrant is classified. In addition, Shenzhen Oudejie Technology specializes in the sale of new imported SHERWIN Sherwin penetrant, and promises to sell products are new imported original, while providing our customers with quotation, selection, product information and other services.
