1. Non-washable Sherwin osmotic dosage form number:
DP-40 Dye penetrant (non-washable) : DP-40 is a non-washable visible penetrant used to locate cracks, lapses, pores, lack of bonding and similar surface defects. The DP-40 can be used in non-porous components, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ceramics and glass. Weld inspection is called the "visible dye penetration" method or the "color contrast" method.
2. Washable Sherwin osmotic dosage form number:
1, DP-50 dye penetrant (washable) : DP-50 is a washable visible penetrant used to locate cracks, lapping, pores, lack of bonding and similar surface defects. The DP-50 can be used in non-porous components, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ceramics, glass, and some plastics. A test called the "visible dye penetration" method or the "color contrast" method can be used for weld inspection.
2, DP-51 dye penetrant (washable) : DP-51 is a washable visible penetrant used to locate cracks, lashes, pores, lack of bonding and similar surface defects. The DP-51 can be used in non-porous components, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ceramics, glass, and some plastics. A test called the "visible dye penetration" method or the "color contrast" method can be used for weld inspection.
3, BY-LUX Penetrant #1 Double response penetrant: BY-LUX is a washable visible penetrant used to locate cracks, laps, pores, lack of bonding and similar surface defects. BY-LUX can be used in insoluble non-porous parts, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ceramics, glass, and some plastics. A test called the "visible dye penetration" method or the "color contrast" method can be used for weld inspection.
Third, high temperature:
KO-17 HI-TEMP* Penetrant: KO-17 High temperature penetrant is a visible dye penetrant used to find surface defects at high temperatures up to 3500F (176.70C). The KO-17 saves weld inspection time and allows inspection at preheat temperatures. Meet low sulfur and low halogen requirements. Since KO-17 operates at high temperatures, the heat drives the contaminants and thermal expansion defects in the defects to capture more penetrant, thus providing a stronger indication.
4. Low temperature:
LPT 85 Dye penetrants (Off-spec) : Approved Type II, Method C solvent removes low temperature penetrants for use at temperatures below 32°F (0°C). Red for maximum color contrast. The flash point is 2°F (-16°C). Use with DR-62 makeup remover and D106 developer. Use a clean, dry rag or towel lightly dampened with DR-62 Remover for removal.
